Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

The rear is a new look, kinda like the camaro but not exactly. I like it already, 7 speed manual would be interesting to drive

I'm pretty excited about this car, I love it. A year ago I'd probably be on board to buy one, but I've grown tired of fast to an extent. It's an awesome car and beatiful with a bum that's going to take some getting used to.

I'm definitely going to be interested to see what happens with this motor as they get it into the shop and to see what kind of response people get out of simple mods(anything less than a cam).

Dunno. I've never really had a great need for more than 5 forward gears..but then, most of the fun I have in cars
is <75mph. Perhaps for those that track their Corvette, the full gear range becomes useful..?
MPGS - On Highway trips upper 20's were nothing and low 30's were occasional. Even cammed with 475WHP I'd hit 28MPG on longer highway trips. Hopefully it accomplishes the same thing that the six did with closer ratios.

if I remember correctly my non-z51 geared C6 was
    1.)61.83
    2.)92.40
    3.)126.52
    4.)164.47
    5.) Jail
    5.) Prison

I see Viper, Ford GT, Camaro, CTS, and a little bit of Corvette. To much of a mashup for me.

I see a lot of cars and I see it moving away from the traditional Corvette, which makes it more appealing to me. I'd have loved to see it with a FI 6 cylinder.

The Camaro look was without a doubt completely intentional. You can see it in a lot of new GM cars, including the 2013 Malibu and 2014 Impala.

I do agree that the styling is a bit obnoxious, but it should be a riot to drive. I think you'll be hard pressed to buy a better sports car for $50k. Can't wait to try it out when it comes to my dealerships Chevy store.

I like the side profile. . . but know the rear is going to be ugly.
