Damn... Sorry to see that. Thought it looks like it was only the bumper cover that damaged. Impact bar does not look bent. Should be able to fix easily. Sucks to see that happen to a one week old car.

From what it looks like you'll need a new rear bumper cover and clips.

Does the trunk open and shut fine?

Well, it's a white car and those are really difficult to see. Ugh. I'd be gutted if that happened after a week of owning a car. But, more importantly, are you injured? I sure hope not and that you just have whiplash or something.

Damn... I looked at the picture and completely skipped over the rest of the post. Hope you're alright!

    Glad you're ok. A car's a car but a life is irreplaceable.

Jeeze... With that fast of an impact I would think the damage would a little bit more severe (at least by just looking at it). It's unfortunate to hear that the frame is bent I hope that they declare the car as a total loss. A one week old car and a frame bending crash does not sit well with me. They could attempt to fix the frame, but that rarely brings the car back to factory perfect. The car may also end up having a salvaged title after its fixed since the frame had been tweaked. Let us know how it goes.

Just to let you know airbags are only supposed to deploy under very special crash circumstances. Some frontal and side impact may not deploy the airbags. Airbags may cause more injuries if deployed under a wrong circumstance. I think the car did well to not deploy the airbag under your circumstance(unless you ended up plowing into some others rear end during your crash).

This. Since you were hit from behind, that would send your head backwards into the headrest rather than into the steering wheel. I wish you a speedy recovery. But not for your car. I hope that's written off. I know I'd be unhappy to have it back after that big an impact.

Sorry to see, and glad you're okay!

I fixed your pic link for you...you don't use straight html when posting, but rather use vBulletin's IMG or URL tags.

Very happy to see you posting. Very saddened to see your car.
