The red triangle on the FT86 is actually a functional light. Not sure if fog or third brake light but its only a reflector for the US bound cars. I personally like having the reverse light low. It lights up behind the car quite well.

It is positioned well. Just that the triangle shaped thing doesnt seem to blend in with the rear of the car. Seems like a strange design cue.

Anyway, like someone once said,it is on the outside of the car & you don't see it while you are driving,so it shouldn't bother you. Enjoy the ride.

I'm not into the barebones of the scion. The brz tech I like better. But that white is definitely sexy.

See I like the lack of tech. Its a car.. not my couch That said though, its entirely a matter of personal preference. I've found in the limited seat time I have so far that this really is a drivers car that requires your attention. No time for gadgets, I'm having too much fun with the car itself.

Lol completely understandable. To me it is just that there r plenty of times that I am just sitting in my car and gadgets r fun. Plus I love the push start and leather of the limited trim.

Since its just a reflector, I wonder what a dark tint overlay or light tint overlay would do for appearance. Probably very good looking when done

Like I said elsewhere, a great purchase, Shawn! I wish you had owned it 2 weeks ago.

Hmm.. now that's a interesting Idea. Since its not a US spec necessity I could probably get away with tinting it pretty dark. Dark tint against the white lights would match the rest of the black on white parts of the car.

haha.. Ray if I had this two weeks ago you'd be wanting one more than you already do Seat time in this car is like catching a virus. Once you're exposed.. there's no going back.

Thanks guys, I'll keep reporting back as I have more seat time/mileage and experience with the car and what if any changes I make. Right now.. its about as perfect as a car in this price range can be, though that said I've already run into my first "the trunk opening is not large enough" scenario lol.

fyi, Bruce your sub box is on its way lol (had to solicit a buddy to help drop it at fedex because the shipping box is huge and wouldn't fit )
