TRD Blower for the car is confirmed.

Which, to me, suggests a FI Subaru is almost a given.

Last time I was at my dealer one of the sales guys told me 2014 is supposed to have a turbo model BRZ and a convertable model BRZ....but knowing how full of crap most sales guys are, I have not put much stock in it.

My father in law is waiting for just such a car. He's a huge Miata fan, but if Subaru/Scion offers a convertible BRZ/FR-S with some form of forced induction, he'll buy one on the spot. I think we'll see a convertible at some point in the future. I have heard numerous times throughout the development of this car that the platform was designed to support it from the very beginning.

I too have heard this. I think it's a nice platform for a convertible.

Can the convertible version be engineered to auto-spray SPF100 on the driver as it deploys? #becausewhiteboy

Just be like every other convertible driver in Oregon:

    1. Buy a convertible.
    2. Take it to your friend's house and show them how the top goes down. Brag accordingly.
    3. Put the top back up and never lower it again.

Yeah...I've never been drawn to convertibles. Which is a little weird, since I:

a)often have the windows down for fresh air
b)built a sand rail, which is sortof permanently convertible

If convertibles are topless, I'm pretty sure sand rails are buck naked.

Hit up a nude beach, maybe?

the photoshop is also missing some sort of safety roll bar.

edit: although not all convertibles have them
