I don't really find it wanting for power when I'm cruising around town or in the twisties, you just have to keep the revs up. It's mandatory - you can't expect torque at 3000 rpm to haul you around a course, you have to manage it.

    But it's fun
I want to fill my parking spot with WRX Why won't Subaru let me?!

rotaries are for airplanes.... silly newb! lol

I'm still considering one of these. Just waiting for someone to give me a full book offer for my WRX So likely it wont happen for a few years but hey, that's ok. I got friends that have em so I can drive one when I want (for the most part, usually in trade for beer or yard work muscle.. or both)

I was wondering what happened to you after your prolonged search. Did you sell the boat? And why no pics of the new ride?

Also, time to change your sig.

Though I think the current model is a fine sports car, (based only on reviews and specs, I haven't driven one..), I have to admit that a hotter one would make me tingle a little.

Fine yes, but it could be a lot better. When I AutoX'd an FR-S, my takeaway was the suspension is phenomenal, but it could definitely use a substantial bump in power.
