Glad someone beat me to it and had the same opinion of "numbers guys" ..

they'll always be missing out, but then again they'll never really know what they're missing due to their own ignorance.

I wish I had a real view of how the BRZ's cargo area stacks up to other cars... TBH, I wish I could order it with no rear seats and with a hatch opening (which I know they discarded for rigidity reasons).

I want so badly to justify that as my next car... it looks so fun

You don't buy a car like that for cargo room.

Well I wouldn't buy it for cargo room, but I can't very well have a DD that truly has NO cargo room.

There's a picture somewhere of the BRZ with the rear seats folded down and a set of 4 full size tires fit just fine.

It's easy to think that way, but in reality, there are a lot of prospective sports car buyers that are in my situation. It's now POSSIBLE to own one, but they'll still need to put something in the back once in a while. Even the Corvette's designers make sure that the convertible can fit 2 sets of golf clubs.

Its scary how much cargo a porsche 911 will actually hold. Between the cargo area's behind the seats and the "frunk" out front.

I figured I could easily put my mountain bike in the brz trunk, folding down the seats and removing the front wheel from the bike. To be honest it has a decent sized trunk area for a small car. height isn't all that great but depth front to rear is very good even with seats up.

What do you need to carry ingen?

Can get at least two male adults in the trunk.. 3 if you lop off the arms n legs first.

I prefer to measure trunk space in "dead hooker" though.. and there you could get at least 4 in before having to remove any bits. lol

Well that'd depend on the size of your hookers wouldn't it?

it has a lot of trunk space: http://www.cars101.com/subaru/brz/brz13-trunk9.jpg

I also wonder if the paint on the brz will be as pitifully fragile as the wrx and sti?

I prefer smaller hookers.. 5'-5'5" .. no more than 130lbs lol

but yeah about the paint I think its going to be equally as . Potty Mouth .. Potty Mouth .. Potty Mouth .. Potty Mouth .ty as the rest of the subaru line.

yota, honda.. all the japanese cars have crappy paint.

5', 130 lbs? That would be kinda porky by my tastes.
