being as though it seems like the brz wont be all that easy to attain due to limited amount coming here, and the fact that the frs will be cheaper, thats what ill be looking to get my hands on. I know id be pissed if i bought one and then next model year they throw a turbo in it... Then again, I wonder how much of a price increase will be added too.

I don't know why I bothered not subscribing to any of these threads. It didn't work. I want one.

More recent announcements have made it look pretty likely that the early production numbers were somewhat conservative. Somewhat meaning very, of course.

I'm sure it'll be a taster to see how many we buy... then the following years they'll send more as they're able to produce.

I'm reserving judgment 'til I actually see one...but I like them, too.

Not planning to buy a car from a dealership any time soon, though.

Here is a cool video I just saw. I wonder what that black hatch looking car with a hood scoop has under the hood. I bet it is an inter cooled turbo setup. Now that car would be fun.

That video has already been posted somewhere around here... The car is just a test mule body, it's been around at least since 2010, when people thought that it was what the brz was going to look like.

Did anyone else notice at the 6 minute mark that the car was on an AWD dyno with the front wheels spinning? Did Subaru originally plan this car as AWD?

Doubt it, my guess is they just have an AWD dyno in their test facility as that is all they make other than the BRZ. Even if you put a RWD car on an AWD dyno the front wheels will spin
