Wow, I have to say that I'm a fan of the clean, linear, center dash design. A nice break from some of the overly "organic" button layouts that I've had in recent Ford rentals.

I read that all BRZ models have navigation standard on both trims, which is an interesting move, and sort of too bad since I think most of us would rather have a cheap stock stereo and then go aftermarket.

Also, did anyone else notice the key blank off? So is this a fully electronic lock? I saw the engine start button, but most smart key cars have at least a slot to charge the smart key. If that key battery dies, you're boned, and it uses much more power than a typical keyless entry as its always transmitting.

I still want one. Bad. The wife saw it and won't buy off on it since it isn't 4 doors. I'll just have to buy an STI, oh dear...

Or you can just continue to drive your car that works and not worry about car payments

True enough, but when I get an STI I'll be paying cash. I still plan on keeping the Bugeye till the engine breathes its last. I'm not into engine builds/swaps, so it would get parted out after that to help fund the STI.

I figure the BRZ will be a midlife crisis car in about 20 years, by which time it better be powered by a boxer turbine engine and fly, lol...

Roffles...sci-fi has been promising flying cars for half a century, and my ego promised gratuitous spending money on tap when I reached my 40's.

Mostly just unpredicted expenses. My house is modest, and paid for in 4 years, and my retirement isn't looking TOO shabby...though I won't be retiring at the age I thought I was...

True. But the company I work for owns a Toyota dealer(or 2)... I can then explore employee pricing on the FR-S with no self-inflicted brand guilt.
