Funny thing is that the old 2.5L WRX engine was fairly underrated from the factory. I bet this is a slightly different tune on the same engine.

It will greatly improve the WRX's chances in head to head bench/magazine racing tho!

Aye x3. I think the 2.0 was also underrated to some degree.

I wonder if the 265hp WRX will still use the TD04. Does it get the 6speed?

I wonder further if the 224 GT will have the 2.0L from japan, or if we keep the 2.5L/TD04.

I'm guessing the same gearboxes will carry over and the GT will be the same engine we have now.

The turbo seems to be the big question.

Oh it will be, it will be. Don't let this refresh fool you into thinking that those Cobalt fans won't be trying to establish dominance with their FWD turds. Cobalts, the new Neons.

I'm thinking their gonna go with the 5 speed legacy gears. It ain't gonna be what the last gen had (06-07).

If they do, then I'd say theres still hope with making this car even more successful. Definitely a step in the right direction.

did you quote that from somewhere or did you make it up?-- I am really curious- I'd like to read the article that came from.
