Like the article says, there's no way in hell we're getting a 2.0T engine. Which is a shame because you would think with Toyota on board they would be trying to drown the thing in technology to make it smaller/more fuel efficient. 2.0 liter turbo DI engine, 9.5:1 static compression with a twinscroll setup that would be direct competition for the Solstice/Sky Redline. Market it only as a Toyota so Subaru doesn't have to water down the WRX any further and sounds like we got ourselves a car! ...If only...

It might make sense given todays gas prices. Although Subaru's are fairly efficient as is, public opinion is awd=gas guzzler, especially when subaru makes its AWD nature well known. Plus the weight savings might make for some marginal gains in efficiency anyway. If this was to be a performance version it would probably matter less to its buyers but it would give Subaru a rwd platform for its more fuel miserly models.

Yeah, it's a repost, but who wouldn't want to see a car like that made and sold here?

I see a potential WRC car in that thing.

still a nice looking concept i doubt it'll be called a wrx or sti though since its speculated to be a RWD coupe, but hey as we all know a lot can change in a few years

was only like 12 posts lower in same thread:
http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/new-ca...ng-2010-a.html

and

Subaru RWD coupe will be sold worldwide

Opel Tigra with a roof. The hatch is too sloped, it'd limit room and create a greenhouse. I like the concept though.
