Like I said, most of you aren't up-to-date with modern HMC interiors. I sat inside of a newer Sonata, with optional wood-grain and whatnot, the other day. The fit and finish was as nice (or nicer) than any Subaru I've owned.

Guambomb, what if any information you offer on the tires of this vehicle? What is the recommended PSI for travel? How about towing capacity? What is the fuel tank size? The injectors...do you have a flow rate? How about the fuel pump? How thick are the flanges on the factory exhaust? What is the expected battery life of the vehicle when left on "Accessory" for hours?
All these things will influence my purchase. If Hyundia has provided these details to you please report back. None the less...while impressive on paper....I think you are a fool to buy this in it's first year production. If you hate it...you've ate it as the resale market isnt friendly.

BWAHAHAHA
! Are you kidding? It's a sports coupe. Go figure on the sports coupe. Like the Z. Just to let you know it's the best bang for the buck. The v6 is the cheapest 300hp in the world. The quality of the car is great. The plat form of the motor for the v6 and i4 is great. The car is already out in Korea so that is great news for Amercia because korea will workout all the kinks before we get it. Mark my word this is car is going to make a BIG impact. ![]() My buddy has a 365whp evo 8. He is going to trade it in for the i4 turbo model. Once he found out the platform is like the evo x PLUS rwd he was sold. He already made a reserve at the Hyundai dealer. Quote:

He's right about the 1st yr issue. Look at the issues w/the 02-03 WRX's. Even I waited 5 yrs to get my Rex. Couldn't have asked for a more problem free car. Nice car nonetheless, just not for me.
BTW.... The Z isn't the best bang for the buck. When one can take me from a dig, 1/8 mile, 1/4 mile, 0-60, slalom, auto-x, time attacks, etc.... Then MAYBE.

Yeah I'm sure the KDM (Korea? Domestic Market) vehicle is identical to the one we are getting here.
While it might be a great purchase as far as bang for the buck goes....Let's not be a fan boi for a car that isnt even released yet...no matter how much they pay you to be one.

This car will be the best bang for the buck out on the market when it comes out. Turbo and rwd!
in korea the i4 turbo is 23,000,000won which is about $17,000-19,000 new in Korea . Thats hell of a bargain for a turbo rwd. with the 4b11 world engine in it you can easily bump the hp to high 200's to 300's whp. With drifting getting more popular you will def see this in the circuits. I am sure this car can drift better than the s2k. And we all know how well the s2k drifts. |
