I just ordered my WRX and prefer the black housed 2011 headlights over the chrome ones that will come with my 2012. Anyone want to trade when the car gets here?

bake, paint, allow to cure.. re-assemble.. bake again.. final tighten of screws...
done.. there's your black headlight insertsSeriously, it IS that easy. However, make sure you do actually let them cure over night before re-assembly. I didn't and my lenses got a slight bit hazy. I have to bake mine apart again to clean up the haze from the paint off-gassing in the sealed headlight assy.
Other than that, there aren't any pit falls.. 200* for 12 min is all it takes for some tasty headlight disassembly.. then repeat for re-assembly after the painted parts are ready to go back in.
