So i have been searching around and cant seem to find my answer..
I am planning on doing the Air Pump System delete on my 08, but i need to find someone that can delete/disable the 15 codes on the ECU for this.
Any direction would be great

Im in Lone Tree, recently had 3 codes pop for the air pump and rather then paying the 1300 to replace it, i figure its time to rip everything out. Im just stuck because i dont have accessport or such software. If you can help in disabling the codes id be glad to give you some cash![]()
Isn't the emissions system warranty longer even than the power train warranty? In my state it is. I'd check the book.

I do have the air pump setup for the 06 WRX... we can always see if any of the parts work for you....
06 stuff will fit in fine? i have codes P2444 and P0410 going off
I checked the book 8yr 80,000 miles...I fall under this and the air pump falls under the emissions components listed.. i will be contacting subie dealership in the AM. thanks for the heads up!
You're welcome. Note also
in my state the emissions warranty is not dependent upon the validity of the other warranties.
I take breathing very seriously. If Subaru of America do not, they ought to be ashamed.

Please let us know how this turns out... Thanks in advance.
You can't have everything - where would you put it?
No go with the warranty... They said this doesnt fall under the emissions... I laughed and asked what was there description of the use of the pump. They didnt know how to respond of course.. So i said since it has no major use why do i need to pay 1200 to replace it, again no response.. So i asked them to disable the codes so i could rip everything out. Im wondering if they truly deleted them or just cleared the error on the ECU. I guess i will find out in the morning when i try to start the car.
I'd escalate. You have a legitimate claim. Besides, a major manufacturer's representative is refusing to repair malfunctioning emissions equipment. This affects public health.
I can't see how this is acceptable. If its acceptable to the dealer, see if it's acceptable to SOA.

Still looking for anyone that has the proper equipment to help me disable these codes, if your out there you'd make me one happy driver. This limp mode driving isn't very much fun.
