I can't believe how well my brakes put up with the pass! The DBA Rotors and Ferodo pads are an incredible combo! I'm bummed they have to go

Good to meet you though man. Awesome car

Thanks, you too. There were lots of clean cars to look out. My brakes made it to right when we came out of the pass before they started losing bite. Drilled and slotted rotors help. Couldn't have been happier with how the meet went overall.

I couldn't either man. I think it was the perfect size... a great group of people, 2 great drives, great food/beer and no one got hurt/tickets.

Anyone have an idea on a location for a BBQ for sept 5th? I was actually thinking that the place we stopped on squaw pass would be awesome and we should find out some info on it.

Do a meet at the same location, then drive up the back side to squaw pass and grille out there at the park, and then head back.

That was my fav pic. That's awesome.

Thanks for comin out. I'd love to go check out the rally racing, but with limited lip and lower suspension, I don't think I could drive.

I used to live out by vegas in the mojave desert, and we used to rally around out there on a couple of lake beds... that was a blast

I used to drive hard on my stockers... and they went out in about 50k. At about 53k I went and got the DBA 4000xs rotors the Ferodo ds2500 pads and the elf fluid + goodrich lines... and Holy cow.. I used to have knockback issues... I used to have heat issues... They weren't bad, but over extended use, they sucked. On this drive though... Holy sh!t. My brakes were incredible... no fading at all.. no knockback at all... they were firm, easy to modulate, and all around perfect.

    Edit: Nice cell shots Garrett

Thats good to know, after this drive i started to realize that the power of my car isnt what i want improved its the braking and handling. Kind of considering selling my vf39 swap parts and upgrading the brakes, springs, sways, or something in that area. The other part of me just wants to leave it just how it is even though it could be improved i have learned to love the old bugeye suspension. Takes a little more effort but thats what makes it fun

come take a drive in my car. Then see after only a few hundred in aftermarket suspension parts if that's what you'd want to do or not.

I don't know how much I'd judge that... we have different engines. But it'll give you a basic idea
