My brother and I are trying to start up a meet. We are calling it Saturday Night Lights, due to meeting on Saturday nights; you can find us on Facebook. I drive a WRX but he has Legacy 2.5 GT. The meets will have a spot to meet at and then shortly after everyone meets and congregates, we roll out and take a drive across town. Each meeting spot and drive will vary each time we meet.

Anyone else have anything like this already established? Maybe a possibility to join forces and get the numbers to rise faster?

Haha! Yep, I said it, dirt roads! The details aren't set yet, but last year it was in May. I will keep everybody posted on the details. Last year the route was from Castletock to Colorado Springs, through mountain roads.

Sounds like a blast! Definitely keep us posted on that, I can think of at least a few people that would be down for that.

In the mean time, we should get a small local meet and cruise together. Perhaps the golden gate route mentioned previously?

Yeah, I'm in for a cruise through GG. I know all those roads in case nobody does. I ride my sport bike out there a lot in the summer.

I'm game for a GG run. Peak to Peak from I-70 to Lyons is a great drive too.

So where exactly would a cruise through golden gate start and end for us? Sorry I'm not at all familiar with that area. Just trying to get an idea for what the route would be.

Yeah, that Lyons drive is nice too. The GG cruise would start on highway 93 in Golden, through golden gate up to highway 119. From there the route is optional. We can go south towards Blackhawks/Central City then over to Idaho Springs. Or go north towards Nederland, and in Nederland either go down Boulder Canyon, or keep going on peak to peak to highway 7. From there we can go down to Lyons or keep trucking to Estes Park. There's lots of options, just depends on how long you wanna drive for.

Sounds like a good drive. Hell we could even organize it to where we end up in Blackhawk and make a stop at the casinos haha.

Yeah, we could. I was gonna actually suggest (depending on the route we take) grabbing a bite to eat in Idaho Springs, Nederland, or Lyons.

That would be cool, there is the original Beau Joes's in Idaho Springs, which is infinitley better than the other Beau Joe's pizza places. They're right next tot the Tommy Knocker's brewery too so they always have fresh beer.

I'm up for whatever. I've done parts of this drive and it sounds like fun.

So who else would be in for a cruise through Golden and Idaho springs to Beau Joes? We can work out the details later, but I'd like to see how many we can get together. I would imagine that it would be best to do this on a Sunday.
