The only thing awdpirates is good for is finding parts locally. The people on there are useless when it comes to advice or real knowledge. Thats why i spend the majority of my forum time here and just a small portion looking for odds and ends on awdpirates.

I agree. They really aren't as knowledgeable as one would think. They're mostly on there for the b.s. stories, and arguments. You'd think they were a bunch of 12 year olds.

+1. There's no point in spending time over there for me, trying to learn anything. I'll stick to NASIOC, ClubWRX, and IWSTi for my info....
If I ever need to buy or sell a part though, you're right, that's all they're really good for.

Welcome. Good luck. I'm only one town over. If you find a car you want to look at, I'd be more than happy to cruise along with and help look for signs that it's been modified, tampered with, or isn't in mechanically sound condition. Just buy me a burger! lol.
