Anyone know what time the Red Rocks Meet is? I heard about it from a friend, but don't know too much about the details!

Yep! Wow, why so early in the day? Lol WTF how long do these things usually last and what goes on usually? Sorry for the 21 questions but the last time I went to like a local subaru meet it was pretty boring. Lol.

They do them every wednesday night. I'll go at least once or twice this year.

Heh, Im also part of another forum that shares the common interest of vehicle performance. We accept any make and model, We have as little as a 40 HP bike to a 800 HP vette and alot in the middle.

Always nice to mix things up and see My vette, 1 or two mustangs, a mazda 6, RX8, 300CT, Evolution etc... cruising through the mountains together.

Usually the meet involves lunch, so if you meet at 10 am, that gives people time to talk and check out other cars for an hour, then drive for an hour somewhere to eat lunch. Figure an hour to an hour and a half for lunch, and then a lot of people will continue the drive for another hour or so and start splitting off as they get close to home (or too far away from home to continue).

There's also typically less traffic in the morning and early afternoon than there is in the evening. You also can start to run into issues of driving at dusk if it's a dinnertime meet, which is the most dangerous time to drive, and you can't enjoy the landscape of where you're driving through. And I had one other reason that I now forgot while I was typing the rest.

Hmm, race the vette...or race the subie...race the vette...or race the subie... Im familiar with how my vette launches, still not terribly comfortable with the subie though due to my lack in experience in launch turbo vehicles. In the vette i can practically launch from idle and i still break loose. But not sure if i want to rev the subie up prior to launching.
