I grew up and moved from the California central valley, where we didn't have snow. I just recently moved to Colorado within the last 2.5 years. Plus considering 90% of people live within 50 miles of where they grew up, most of those morons out there would be from Colorado/Denver.

Texans, and Californians are extremely prevalent in downtown denver, dtc, and the broomfield areas because of the technology boom.

Im not really good at detailed painting lol. Btw I love this weather. The $800 set of Pirelli All seasons I just put on the car at the beginning of the month make accelerating to 60mph and stopping on a dime easy as hell in the snow I was shocked.

HOW TO - Paint Your Subaru Badge, Both the Stars and the Background!
It's not that hard and detailed painting not needed.

I painted both front and rear badges a candy purple and left the chrome stars. Pics tomorrow...

Hey guys. I need some friendly advice. I have an 05 WRX wagon, and I apparently have a bad short block. Was in denver when I found this out and made it back to the springs (probably not smart). Should I get another 2.0 short block, or do a hybrid 2.5 short block 2.0 head setup? Also, if any of you have any suggestions on where to go, who to talk to, that would be appreciated.

hybrid with cp pistons and forged rods. Only downer is without the AVCS (06+ or 04sti+) the gas mileage won't exactly be incredible on the hybrid build.

I was looking at doing this as well. I know with an sti swap you would need a new ecu and all the other stuff for the engine, but would you need a 6 speed tranny in a bugeye with the swap?
