I was laughing at the "accept me as one of your own" comment.

Only tried one meet, and it was ruined by the rain, but we all had a good time still.

I'm trying to get anyone that's free to head to bandimere tomorrow. If you're up for it, feel free to join!

Gotcha, my bad lol. Got work and no idea where bandimere is, lol. What you guys should do is head to the Air Force Academy in the Springs for a meet. I work there myself and it is a GIGANTIC base. LOTS of driving to be done and tons of excellent spots for pics. While in the Springs you could even head over to Garden Of The Gods which is amazing as well.

The problem is, the AFA is a restricted area.

I'd have no problems, but most wouldn't be able to get on. I'm thinking castle rock would be a better loc... us denver-ites and you springers could all meet sometime.

Correction, its a SEMI-restricted area, lol. I work the gate myself. All visitors are able to gain access onto the base between the hours of 8am and 6pm with a valid drivers license. And once you're on, you are able to be on until you leave, regardless of time

But yea, CRock could be a good meet place as well.

They must have recently changed that. Immediately following september 11th all bases were restricted to the public without a military escort. Last I had known, AFA was still restricted. When did that change?

The Air Force Academy is different then most bases because it is pretty much a tourist attraction. Between the Falcon Stadium, Cadet Chapel, hiking trails, etc.... It used to be an open base up until September 11th. After that is when specific visting hours went into affect. Also, even if someone non-military tries to gain access after 6pm, they can do so with a military sponsor (phone call)/escort. I was working 3 nights ago and there was actually about 15 VW's that came on for a meet LOL.
