Ahhh I am so jealous Timber :sadwave:
I want to go to Subiefest SOO bad... me and a group of peeps were planning on going all year, but then things fell through.
Yes yes take lots of pictures!
Ahh only two pages to catch up on today, not bad guys
Talking about how much we've spent on our Subie's... I just added mine up and I have spent just over $4,200 so far
And to think I am not even CLOSE to what I want it to be :rotfl:
when you figure thats over a few years thats not really that much in the scheme of things... and besides thats what deployment money is for .... now that being said im really nowhere near done.. everytime I hit a milestone i'm already looking at the next... I.E. 400whp right now.... probably wont hit that unless I go ej25 anytime soon.
Morning, Gilly. (well, probably not so morning over there, I guess ) I'm about to go out and take a pic of the damage from the deer I hit last night. Everything okay over there?
The problem isnt that i cant afford an uppipe. I just cant afford stage 2 yet. I just want to do everything at once while i have everything torn apart. And right now i dont have the money to go stage 2. So until then im fine with just running stock+
Really im not absolutely convinced that stage 2 is safe for my car. If i want to get 200k out of my engine, and transmission it might not be the best option for me. I will have to figure out if i want to bore out my wastgate to make certain that im never getting any boost creep. My subaru is my daily driver, i need it to last me until 200k miles without any major repairs. Regardless of how well I drive my car, stage 2 will never HELP me to get the most mileage out of my engine or tranny. The real question i have is, do i buy another daily driver car, and really start to mod my suby. Or do i keep my suby stock and buy another Chev to restore and have fun with? I used to own a blazer, but sold it. Worst mistake i ever made. I loved that truck. Easiest thing ever to work on, nothing is easier to pull power from then the old chevy 350's!

Boy did that truck eat gas! 11 mpg! = 500 bucks a month in gas. Not as bad is may seem when all i was paying other then that was an 80 dollar a month insurance payment.
Timber Lets see those pictures!
