Yes yes I can sew =]
I can do weird odds and end things that would help contribute =]
And we could always settle for like a 6-7 bedroom $700,000 house

Well... we will need a little bit of cash flow before we can get a building... so we should start the company with "we come to you".... so they call us, tell us what they need done... then we send the appropriate person(s) to their house to do the job (within the Salt Lake area... charge more if we have to travel further)... once we get a little bit of a cash flow and get a good amount of customers by word of mouth... then we can open a shop.........
    Yes?

    Yes?
agreed.. maybe get a few stock headlights of a few varieties and do a core exchange headlight painting/modding service too. definately get some kind of word of mouth going before we open a location.

to backyard mechanic, we need to be legit to get a good name out there. but it would be nice if that is how we could operate. however i would like it better in a nice clean shop with a lift and all of the tools rather than in some dudes driveway laying in oil as his wife yells at him to make dinner. But your right lou cost is the biggest part and that first lump will be hard to swallow. also with shops like solid auto around we would have good competition so we gotta be damn good at what we do.

Yeah your right. but i feel we can take intermitten steps in teh mean time.. for instance getting a vendor account on some of these sites, perhaps stocking and moding items like headlights and things while we work on getting the shop setup. good way to get word of mouth out.
