it is the best gearset but mfactory =$2500 1-5 gears, $475 for exedy clutch, and it comes in its own case so it would be easier to install. and it should hold 375 whp very reliably

that bugeye is awesome. im going to put some hella supertones on mine soon, they look sick. and i want new gears, mine scare me, i dont have that much power, but ive heard so many stories i dontwant to take a chance. when i do mine im going to drop the tranny at work, take it to a shop, pay them to install the new gears of my choice and then pick it up and install myself, it should save about 6-10 hours in labor.

Shoot im pissed for ya Treq. That sucks, it just totally sucks. Maybe we should all call and complain about his trans, then they'll throw him a new one for free. We should do that everytime anyone has problems. All of us just stroll up to the dealership and demand justice!

My advice to you treq: If your transmission is on its way out, throw in the redline/amsoil cocktail. 2 quarts Aimsoil 75-90 svg, 1.7 quarts redline lightweight shockproof. Then after that drive it until your transmission just completely blows up. Save your money. Buy what your car NEEDS, put off what you WANT. I know it doesnt sound fun but just uh dont get over your head in mods you know? You still need to drive this thing, so put a hold on all the other stuff, just save for a rainy day. But im sure you thought about this already. And i dont mean to sound like some parent or something. I would just hate to hear you have to sell your car at a major loss because you cant afford to repair it.

They probably wouldnt care and just tell us something like, "Well we wish we could help but we cant? I mean if i end up actually honoring this warranty, I could lose my job!" Then we'd all just pull out grenades and chinese stars and go nuts! Yeah a hiest on a dealership!

ya, working at a dealership i can see just how touchy warranty work van be, not only for the manufacture paying for it, but the tech gets paid differently and everyhting. but if the cars under warranty, it shoul be done.
