I'm starting to look at 17x8 wheels and figured I'd pass on what I've gleamed thus far- approx weights/prices/offsets

I've kind of cut things off at ~ 17 lbs

In no particular order

5Zigen FN 01RC ~ price $200, et 48, 17 lbs

Motegi Traklite ~ price $275, et 45, 14.5 lbs

Weds TC105N ~ price $375, et 42, 14.8 lbs

Kosei K1 TS ~ price $240, et 45, 15.5 lbs

Enkei RS+M ~ price $280, et 45, 16.0 lbs

Enkei RPF1 ~ price $240, et 45, 15.5 lbs

OZ Racing Ultraleggera ~ price $265, et 48, 17.4 lbs

SSR CS ~ price $400, et 49, 15.0 lbs

will be adding a some of Volk's offerings soon

if anyone knows of any other wheels- 17x8 in the 17ish under range LMK

I'm going to be ordering a set of Enkei RPF1's for the Z soon. 18lb for a 18x9.5 seems pretty good to me, they are relatively affordable too. Admittedly I probably won't be doing any STX but I could see why they'd make a good wheel for that.

i've seen low 15's posted by several different folks for the RPF1 in 17x8

I may be pulling the trigger on a set of these- Enkei RC-T4's 17x8 weight 16 lbs- these would be my "everyday"/wet wheels

on a white 08 :)

I wanted some sexy 17" x 8" rims to replace my 17" x 7" Superleggeras. The first page of this thread cinched it for me. The Weds are that; lightweight and forged as well. They will be my street shoes as well.

Thanks Mike. :)

I need the driver mod a lot more than rims. :sadwave:

Which would you choose?

Hankook Ventus R-S2 Z212 $110
Kumho Ecsta MX $124

I want 245/40/17 and don't want to $pend $180+. With the current size availability of STX capable tires these two look to be the best choices for me.

When is the cut off?

If you were willing to go to 245/45/17, Tire Rack has the Direzza Z1's in stock at $131 each.

I know you're chomping at the bit to get those Works on... Its just another option.
