the Dunlops price falls under the Advans and Bridgestones, time will tell on the performance.

I ran RE01R's this past season, nice tire no two ways about it Ofcourse I was "smart" and bought mine early, before the $100 off coupon came out
I took a 1400 mile drive home over the past 2 days through several mountain ranges... I couldn't believe how confident the car felt on the RE01rs. I know everyone is sick of me talking about them. I'm in love with them.. and at 135 a pop, that's not a bad price for such a good tire.

But those RC-t4 wheels are not exactly light... They are the so called "replacement" for the ES-Tarmac but weigh in at around 17lbs or so according to RalliSpec.

17 lbs isn't too bad for a 17x8 wheel, ofcourse 16 lbs is better, 15 lbs even better yet

Yeah yeah yeah keep rubbing it in...

The stock wheels are what? 16lbs, I'd rather stay at that weight or lower.

To compete in STX do you need 17" or smaller? Can you run 18's?

I was looking at Volk Racing RE30's in 18x7.5 they weigh in at 16.5lbs.

You can run any diameter you would like, but the rim can be no wider than 8".

17" is typically used as you can get lightweight wheels (~15 lbs.) and MANY tire size options from MANY manufacturers.

i was looking at the tracklite's for a while too, i've never actually handled one. i have worked with Enkei RPF1 before and was very impressed by how light they were. Can't go wrong with SSR or Volk's but i'm much too poor.
