    any race an old turbo civic?

    lets say a... 93 civic dx or so hatchback. with a moderate sized turbo. about how fast are those?? i still think a stock wrx could spank it but i could be wrong..?

    All depends on the Engine, Turbo, Tires, and Tune.

    However with Power:Weight, I'd probably give it to the Civic vs Stock WRX, though it'd be really close! A Civic will absolutely fly with any type of well balanced forced induction.

    And also which engine they are running either SOHC or DOHC
    +1 expecially the old civic the power to weight is awesome .... once u add force induction u need a modded wrx to keep up with it...

    would it help if i said. crap tires. crap engine. kid's only installing the turbo and headers for it. no tune. all parts total at 250 dollars. lol. how about now?

    i raced my buddys turbo civic from a stop then up hill. it was the 96-98 models with the elbock turbo kit. excuse my spelling.
    i took him off the line but around 70mph he caught up and slowly pulled away. for a civic it was quick.
    but then again i had also got the car and didnt know how to quite drive it yet. unlike my old car a honda prelude with well over 140k miles, i feel like im about to break the tranny on the wrx.
