Usually around $400 or so for an hour or two. Gains are based on what mods you have. Looking at my own setup, I would expect a protune to gain me about 25-35whp, maybe more.

    call them and ask

Most likely it will be similar to the Stage 1 upgrade. The gain isn't really hp, but torque, and it also changes the torque curve and boost delivery to be smoother. "Increased drivability" is the result.

I was in the same situation as you with the clutch it started slipping as soon as I hit 70k miles last December. I went down to precision tuning to get mine swapped out and was going to get the stock exedy, but because the person that was talking to me, sent the clutch to my house even though I made an appointment to come in, to do the swap, and they gave me a break on the stage 1, so I got that. After the break-in, I tried to launch my car, and I the first time I did it, I practiacally smoked all 4 tires. It scared the sh;t out of me, becasue I thought I was going to leave my gears on the ground. So that stage 1 clutch means business, you will definately improve your times, after the replacement, my car got a lot faster, which means it was slipping for a long time on mine, even if it was just a little bit. Only now, I won't launch it, becasue you can't slip it easily, I ether bog or chrip the tires real good and I just don't feel like dropping 2 or 3k on tranny replacement.

Well then there you go, you would have been lunch meat Just to thow my .02c and to answer your question more directly on how much someone with a wrx would need to have, to give you a good run: is more commonly known as COBB stg2. Downpipe about 200-250 and an Accessport 695 before it was 595, and technically its a stg 2. Now throw in, the entire turboback exhaust and an uppipe to the mix, and things really become interesting. That's what I have and I am quite happy with how fast the car is. I can smoke propably 90% whats out there and keep up with the likes of the infinity G35 luxo boxes.

    sti over speed6 all day!

I own an 06 sti that is stock. I can beat my brother in laws 07 speed3 no prob. I run 2-3 cars on him with a crappy launch, and continue to pull at the end of 4th gear. speed3 and speed6 post identical times. I have tried to race a speed6 but he chickened out! Looking forward to meeting up with one.
