Took my 2002 WRX wagon to Pahrump Nevada and ran the 3.5 mile configuration at Spring Mountain track. It has 21 turns including fast sweepers and tight auto-x style turns.
The video is composite of a lap around the track passing a BMW M3, Acura NSX, Mustang Cobra, 350Z, and Lotus Exige. Track time was 3:19.
Thanks to I-Speed/Crawford Peformance for the tune and 2.5L shortblock and Myles from RCE for suggesting the KWV3 coilovers!

Nice, safe looking track- lots of run off!
Gary what's your video setup (probably asked you before)- very clear, very steady
Looks like a hint of oversteer in a couple of corners

Awesome video! I would give my right arm to have a track like that to learn on. Thanks for sharing.

Mike: I wish I had oversteer in some of the tight turns. It's a challenge to come up with the ideal alignment for the Spring Mountain track because it has a combination of fast sweepers and super tight turns. My grip on the sweepers was superb but on the tight turns the rear end didn't turn in as quickly as I would like. I'm a bit sheepish about trying it but I'm considering putting the rear sway on the middle setting.
Speaking of sway bar, with those 235 Toyo RA1s, the rear passenger tire has rubbed up against the Progress suspension sway bar on hard turns. With Helix endlinks and their spherical bushings the sway bar has some side to side movement. I've shaved some material off the sway bar where the contact has occurred. Short of narrower tires or spacers, I'm not sure what else I can do. I don't want to add more negative camber in the rear. It's already at -1.75/
My video mount uses the headrest bars on the passenger seat. It's a homemade set up. The SONY camera has an image stabilizing function - not sure if that helps.
Great video! I have a sony with image stabilization and its amazing what it does. It definately helps in your videos.

Very nice video! I'd love to take the car out and do that.

Gary- ahh just a "regular" video camera w/ homemade mount- thought it might be one of those dedicated on car camera setups you see in the mags- if your getting that good of video w/ your setup that's great!
If your getting a little swaybar walking maybe give a set of sway collars a go. I agree you probably have sufficient neg camber in the rear and spacers in the rear will just dial in additional understeer. If collars don't work you may have to try a different sway link.

The NSX driver was giving the pass on the right side signal. He was being polite not rude.
