Well there is a raceway in Atco, NJ Atco Raceway. It's a great track, and I love it there. BTW I thought Englishtown was a 1/8 can someone confirm that?

Englishtown and Atco are both two lane Quarter Mile Drag strips. I am right smack between both of them, so they are both my local runs

I think what the OP meant was about Englishtown having a road course, similar to an AutoX or Time Attack course...and indeed it looks like one. Wow I can't wait for that to open! Late 2007 it is saying.

Look on the menu on the right side and go to the link that says "road course"

Englishtown has both a 1/4 mile and an 1/8th mile track - not the same track, the 8th mile is further down and to the left (if you are standing in the stands you should be able to see it.) I went to a Scion event with a friend and they were using the 1/8th mile track - I thought he was messing with me because I was only aware of the 1/4 mile track.

Also - my brother worked at E-town for a while, they've been fighting with the town about that road course for well over a year. They began grading and paving without permission from the township, and the township has been slowing their progress.

^^^ Ahh you're right. I forgot it had the 1/8th mile track. For some reason that just doesn't seem as fun to me...

But yeah it looks like according to the site, that Final Approval has been given for the track to be completed...Woot!

    I Support ClubWRX
A local location for FATT days will be nice.

I watched the video. My impressions (based on MIS, RA, VIR, and SR)
Short track, fairly technical, lots of 2nd/3rd gear running. Not a lot of elevation changes which always makes it exciting. Don't like the runoff room left between turns 3 and 13 and 4 and (I think those are the numbers).
The corkscrew looks sweet and will likely be the key to setup for the straight. Lets hope wait list doesn't grow too fast and they keep prices in check.
For those that live close...I'd be looking for a weekend job their as a track official if I were you. Trade seat time for work time and become an instructor. Talk about a dream job.......
