It would be great if Subaru had such an amazing young driver like Hirvonen on its team. Oh, wait...

if reference to Hirvonen and Subaru, from looking at the past seasons to present , it looks more like "How comfortable" a driver is with a "Car"
look at Gronholm from the Pug307 to the Focus

I beleive that the Ford just suits Hirvonen better than the Scooby did.

With Friday's cancellation of Leg 1 with the exception of the Cordoba Stadium Super Special stage organizers had to evaluate if the remaining stages conformed to regulations.

In order to allow full points scoring, at least two thirds of the total planned distance of a rally must be completed. Without the first Leg stages, that requirement was no longer met.

The schedule will remain as planned for Saturday's Leg 2.

However, it has been announced that Sunday's Mina Clavero-Giulio Cesare stage will be run twice, thereby meeting the two thirds rule and allowing all drivers to have access to full points.

The revised third Leg schedule will be communicated during the day by Rally Argentina organizers.

    its official:

    from rally-live.com
"Unfortunately for Petter Solberg and the Subaru World Rally team, his Impreza WRC's engine gave up along the way, thereby putting an end to any chance of a seemingly promised Rally Argentina podium finish. That situation might also explain Chris Atkinson's reduced pace, as engine-preserving parameters might be in effect."

    from crash.net:
Subaru team leader, Petter Solberg has been forced out of the Rally Argentina in the penultimate stage of the day, the 20.29 kilometre-run through Amboy-Santa Monica.

Petter had been running comfortably third overall post-SS16, 25 seconds up on Mikko Hirvonen, who was fourth and around 15 seconds off Marcus Gronholm, who heads the chasing pack, behind current leader, Sebastien Loeb.

Solberg stopped 11 kilometres into SS17 though after his car suffered a mechanical problem. Early reports suggest it may have been engine related. It is not yet known if he will rejoin the action on Sunday under the SupeRally and complete the event.
