Sup guys, After a couple of runs for the night.
My Car : 06 Wrx TR My stage 2 kit includes APS Cold Air Intake, APS 3" Turbo Back Exhaust, APS Up-Pipe APS Top Mount Intercooler, and the Dyno-Comp ECU Re-Flash.. Best i could run was 14.03... I think its my launching, people have claim the stage 2 can hit low 13's but im not seeing it
My times:
R/T : .231
60 : 1.962
330: 5.782
1/8: 8.956
MPH: 77.03
1000 : 11.719
1/4 : 14.037
MPH : 98.13
Def. not encouraging. I am going to the track with less mods than you, TBE catless with stage 2 cobb reflash, and I was hoping for a better time than that.

Dont let the SN fool you, my car is black.
Knowing how to drive is a big issue at the track. The launch and the shifting is critical for your times. Your car is probally capable of alot more. With enough practice you should be in the 13's.![]()
My money pit
yeah, ive been practicing my launching while driving. I think im just alittle afraid to be aggressive on the clutch. I hear all these stories about how weak our trannies are i guess it kind of got to me.. None the less i will continure practicing!!!

Your 60' is not "bad" bad still needs work. You can get a wrx into deep 1.8's with a good launch. However, what concerns me most is your bad trap speed. 98mph for a stage2 06' is pretty bad. You need to work on your shift points and shifting speed. That combined with a better launch and you shouldn't have too much trouble working your way into mid 13's @ 100mph or so.

Mind if I ask what the track elevation is? Maybe you are at a higher elevation which would translate to slower traps and ETs.

geeze I feel all embarrased now.. The track i go to is in Arizona so the elevtion is close to sea level (cant use that excuse). I have been practicing launching latly and I feel My times will be quicker ( the other day I killed an audi s4) Hopefully I can get some proof next time I go to the track to redeem myself![]()
I ran like a 14.2x on my first couple of runs. Last couple I ran 13.6x at 99mph.Still think I can do better...maybe 13.3's or so.
