Which Class? First AutoX

Im going to be doing my first autocross this saturday down at Ripkin Stadium. I have been reading through all the rules and guidlines that I can find on the SCCA website as well as on here. I will be entering into novice as this is my first even but i wanted to make sure i have the right open class for my car. From what I understand my car will be STU due to the 2.5l, the intake, and the rsb. If someone could either confirm this or point me in the right direction please do.

That sounds like the right class to me. I'm sure Bill (04.SPT.WRX) will chime in as he has a ton more experiance then I do when it comes to auto-x. Might want to send him a PM if you have any questions.

Email your scca regional guys. In the SC region, they are very willing to help newbies sort through the details. I bet your region is the same.

That's correct you'll be in STU. The RSB pushed you out of DS. I'll be running down there that day if you have any questions or need any help. Check out http://phillyscca.com for information about the day.

The winter series is a very relaxed event. It will be a good time to learn how the event works. You'll have a good time.
