Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Bernie says he doesn't like the sound of the 2014 engines. I personally don't see anything wrong.

It was a joke. Bernie says he heard the new engine & that viewers would not like it since it is barely audible on TV.

Yes, I'd read that Bernie said it sounded like a lawnmower and that they were thinking about "adding" sound to it. What was that in the video then? Please tell me that was the joke and that's not actually a real test engine for next year

From what it sounds like in the video, its an audio played over the video when the RBR is actually turned on! Legit sounded like a 2 stroke 125cc dirtbike!

Rush is either going to be really awesome, or really really lame, and after watching the trailer a few times, I have no idea which way it will go.

I'm guessing really, really lame. Looks like much more attention has been paid to the action and special effects than to the story and acting.

Because every movie in history about motor sports (not including documentaries) has been so outstanding?

I believe its not gonna be lame. I due agree that every movie out there like driven etc are completely fake and all about the special effects but this one will be different! I read alot about the making of it back in the middle of 2012 formula 1 season and they were saying how this will be one of the first movies to be pure for formula 1 fans. How Nikki Lauda himself has supervised much of the movie to make sure its accurate. I'll try to pull up the article and video i seen

Grand Prix and Le Mans were both great fictional films.

For documentaries, Fifty Years Sideways: The Evolution of Rallying was very good.

I no longer see films in cinemas and it could be a while before this latest film is released for home viewing, so I'm not too worried quite yet (in fact I don't care either way if another racing film is ever released; with the exceptions above, I find them boring).

Please tell me you've seen Senna, which will likely be regarded as one of the best racing films EVER.
