    More horsepower buys

I have a mainly stock WRX except for catback, BOV and intake. I was wondering what the best buy for horsepower is. In other words, what's the best bang for the buck?

Selling the BOV and intake and if your car is 2006+, getting a down pipe and a remapped ECU; if pre 2006, add to these an up pipe.

So you go from advice of how to get your car running better with the mods you have on it that actually hinder your performance to asking "how bout a 20g"?

If you're going to ask for advice, please at least provide enough info for people to help you and listen to the advice given.

On what car? You have no supporting mods listed! At minimum you will need the following to run an upgraded turbo:

1.) Injectors (if 2002-2005, this is necessary for any Turbo; not necessary for a VF39 or equivalent on a 2006-current WRX)
2.) If 2002-2005 WRX, catless UP
    3.) 3" TurboBack exhaust
4.) ECU reflash or professional tune
    5.) Larger TMIC
    6.) Fuel pump

This is going to run you approx. $3K for everything

How much info do you need? It's a stock 03 wrx except for the mods I listed above.

as you can see in Zax's post, the year has a lot to do with it....

Actually just read Zax's post very well, all of the answers of the turbo upgrade are in that post. If you are serious about a turbo upgrade, you have to do everything listed there.

With a 20G, you will likely need a new transmission and clutch as well
