    Question Friend bought an S2000

So my friend at work bought a 2005 Honda S2000. He was 'bragging' that he already got pulled over the day after he took ownership. He was driving on the 2 in SoCal somewhere north of the 210 and he was revving it upwards around 6,000RPM so that he "could hear the engine" cuz he likes "the way it sounds."

He looks at me with a smile and says "Do you have any tips on how to NOT get pulled over?"

"Dude. Try not driving like a douche. Drive it like you're just commuting to work. If you don't want tickets, don't drive like a moron - else you are accepting the responsibility of the possibility of a ticket; or worse."

He replies, still with a smile: "But... I don't WANT TO drive it like I'm commuting in it..."

"Then you accept the risk of getting tickets. And honestly, if you're gonna drive recklessly around other people you deserve to get punched in the face. Or do what I did: take to an AutoX. I have to do that every now and then to get it out of my system."

What else would you have me say to my retarded friend so that somebody doesn't get killed? Does this belong in off-topic?

Not into the high-revving approach to power, but a fine sports car, nonetheless.

There was an episode of Top Gear on the other night where they compared a Porsche Boxster, BMW Z3, and the Honda S2k. The S2k almost performed evenly with the other 2 and was about $6000 cheaper. I'd say Honda nailed it with that car.

What's your redline? Cause I'm willing to bet it doesn't come close to an S2k's redline.

Tell him to become an onramp warrior. I don't go ridiculous speeds, but I sure do love gunning it on an onramp onto the highway... hell, that's probably where I use 1/4 of my fuel.
