Dope! Hopefully he will get more than one practice this year!Caterham test driver Alexander Rossi will become the first American to participate in a Grand Prix weekend in almost five years when he replaces Heikki Kovalainen in next Friday’s opening practice session in Spain.
Dammit.I always forget that Friday practice is on Thursday in Monaco & forget to set the DVR.

Ok so I am totally amused that now after three years of RBR designing illegal cars a small hole in the floor has enraged Mark Webber.
Guess what Webbo? Your flexing wing/ moving t-tray/disappearing exhaust/Illeagal throttle blowing car has been a rule bender for quite some time. Get off your high horse, be happy with a dominating win from pole in Monaco and STFU.
Anybody see that new williams rear wing? Pretty rad!
I liked the CA GP so much I didn't see the need to hold a GP in the US; with CA and BR and/or MX there would already be enough American Grands Prix. That's how great I thought the CA GP is.
When I first started following F1 regularly, Rosberg was World Champion. Before that, i remember watching a GP won by Jones. It's been a while.
Then during the Hamilton-Vettel-Alonso battle, Varsha felt compelled to declare, "I wonder if Grosjean knows the three men following him have FIVE world championships between them!."
I'm done. I can't deal with idiocy any more. If I don't find a feed in Varsha-free English I'll either find one in another language I do understand, one I don't, or just not watch. It's not worth it.
You win Bob. I'm out.
Enjoy the season guys, I'll see you on other threads.

Unfortunately Bob is part of the "World feed commentating" and actually travels to the races. So he is on both speed and fox and any other station that carries F1.
I had the same question on my mind as I watched yesterday's fantastic race. Varsha is a lawyer turned commentator. I do not understand why he is even needed there. Just as a customary TV announcer person? And Hobbs too. Steve Matchett IMO is the only one who is of any relevance.
If only they had more car auction shows. Then we would get to hear Leigh Diffey instead of Varsha.
+1 on Greg Cramer. His voice is soooo annoying.
I think Varsha and Cramer have jobs, because someone in USA TV (or ESPN/SPEED more specifically) thinks that we need an American commentator for the broadcast to be relate-able. Also why they ruined the Bathurst 1000 with DW and his Boogety Boogety ****.
Varsha does the show from Charlotte NC (speed headquarters) the only speed reporter at the races is Will Buxton.
I heard that comment and thought of Spiros.
I thought the race was wonderful.
People who pay for the Sky feed in the UK can watch the British commentary streaming.
Incredible. Sebastian Vettel will be on Letterman tonight.
