Subaru Road racing Team On Grid at Daytona 2012 Grand Am Race!!

For those of you who enjoy pictures of Subaru Racing cars...

2011 STI on grid at Daytona.. Qualified 7th out of 40. The only 4 cylinder Turbo in the race. Ran as high as 3rd, was headed for 8th place finish but got caught up in last lap last turn wreck started by a Mustang..

Next race at Barber, Alabama on March 30th..

I've watched the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge reruns on Speed channel (on in the middle of the night, of course). It was always entertaining to see the STI hanging with the Mustangs/Camaros/M3s/Challengers. They never won a race, but often qualified well and ran well overall. Meanwhile the same races have Sport Tuning Cars running - MS3s/Minis/Civics/etc. Always wondered if the STI would dominate that grouping instead of fighting for survival in the bigger displacement class.
