I see you have an intake and a BOV, any tune or other mods?

    Looks like some nice times!

Those are some pretty good times for a stock WRX! You also must be a relatively seasoned drag racer, as I can see from the 60' and RT

the only mods are intake and a BOV, no tune
The next step is launch control, maybe it will help

With a tune you probably would do better, and safer...

I saw your donuts video as well, looks like fun, but your centre diff and transmission may start to protest at some point. Nice times, looks like that Mustang driver was in the middle of doing his taxes, or sleeping, at the line.

Nice time. Enjoy your wrx because I don't think it's going to be in running condition much longer after running an intake with no tune, the donuts video, and I'm assuming your launching from 5-6k for the 1/4 mile runs?

    +1

That is not the best way to treat a new car. Thanks for showing us how fast our cars can go slightly detuned. It'll probably run faster without your mods. BOV is nothing but an expensive noise maker that will cause you problems down the road and an intake that will expedite the death of your motor if you don't get a tune soon. You'll end up with a catastrophic failure if you keep up that treatment...

The hybryd bov is 50/50 but i modified it so it vent back to the air intake. Maybe i should call it baypess valve.

The intake will not cause air/fuel ratio problems if the piping diameter is the some and it is the same.

Anyway I'll be taking my car on dyno maybe next week because i got the access port coming so we will find out if this intake was causeing any problems with air/fuel ratio

Right.. that guy came off the line slow as hell.... I checked out the donuts vid too.. pretty sick, and looks like it was pretty cold as well as wet (aka no grip on summer tires) under those conditions I'd think that all 4 wheels were probably spinning pretty close to the same speed/load... either way I agree the OP should probably keep close attention to the trans.

That reasoning will only work if the MAF sensor was actually located in the pipe of the stock airbox. Unfortunately its located in the box itself and not the pipe. Either way I'm glad you're getting a protune soon.

Good job. Don't listen to all these guys stuck on repeat mode with their comments. Enjoy your car that you are paying your hard earned money for.
