I'm pretty sure from his mods list (downpipe listed) that he's not "Stage 1"

Hmm I was going by his Signature and from his Dyno vid, but your right I see in his profile he has a downpipe which would not be stage 1, good catch!

It's the other way around. Stage 1 is everything stock or a cat back. Stage 2 is adding the down pipe.

LOL well it's just a term. Once upon of time when Vishnu was still in the Subaru game, a tune was called "stage 0" and a down pipe and a tune was "stage 1." Call it what you will, but the generally accepted terminology for down pipe + tune is Stage 2. The cutback adds almost nothing, even with the down pipe and tune.

Always a good rule of thumb, you add a dp....get a tune. I love seeing the "why am I over boosting in my sti in 5th gear" threads on nasioc.

Not necessarily true man, Nameless Performances catbacks are giving gains of almost 30 wtq, there turboback giving gains of 50+ wtq

Not to call you out, but I really would love to see same-day dyno runs that prove this (with the proper correction factor). Simply put, I just don't believe it.

No offense taken bro, I know its a high stake to claim haha but thats coming from Nameless themselves. Also with their design apparently, they retain the low end tq gains that many other exhaust systems lose once going high-end power

Honestly don't know man, well with the Turboback a tune would be required anyways. In regards to the catback, whethere theres a tune or not, i dont know, I would assume there would be, considering their setup and how it allows so much better breathability, I do believe that it will add more power similiar to Borla exhausts, they add power without a tune, but cant say for sure regarding the Nameless. Just saw it off their facebook page haha

yeah i know, this is a direct quote so as to clear up any confusion/disclaimer to me haha

"‎3" downpipe w/ 1.75" divorced pipe; 3" midpipe to muffler; 2" rear circuits (same as our axleback). Non muffled TB made 50ftlb to the wheels. Non muffled Catback made 30ftlb. Have to look up the hp numbers."

thats what im going by, ill ask them if im talking to them to find out, but it'd be incredible if that was without a tune, tho i really think it would require one

Ah, that seems to be with a tune. I'm guessing that tune with stock catback = 25 ft. pounds
