Because of the heat at that elevation, it is purely impossible to make any horsepower, so that number is not at all bad. However, the launch can use some work, and there is room for improvement there. But don't get in too much of a hurry for a big number. That is very respectable for the first time at the strip.

Congrats buddy! 60ft could use a little improving, but tonight is horrible... at 1am it's still 85 degrees out!!

It was not drag racing conditions tonight As the season gets further into the 70's during the day, and the barometrics increase whilst it gets dryer (humidity will go down later in the year)... you'll get some better times

Yeah i figured the weather had something to do with it, but there was an 05 wrx there pullin 14.5's with identical 60' times to mine, he was cobb stage 2... i figured the 2.5 would outperform the 2.0 mod for mod his trap speed was 2mph higher too.

Whats an ideal 60' time? the 2.006 was my best and i think i figured out what i need to do on that run.
I'm still getting used to the idea of flooring it off the line and tend to launch without having the pedal all the way to the floor.

Well... not my first time to the strip, only my first time in this car.
My last car was a 2005 ION Redline that went a best of 14.1 @ 103mph.
