i think what everyone is saying is that there is no POINT to drift in a subaru.

unfortunately, its people that dont know how to drive and do stupid things in their vehicles on public roads that cause everyone's insurance that owns a subaru to go up...

if you are going to drift, or do burnouts, or pretend to be a rally racer, do it on a track and get hazard insurance for the track, cause you are eventually going to wreck your car.

I don't have the access that RayfieldsWRX has, but the car pictured in your profile is a 06-07 STI. If this really is your car then it doesn't have traction control or stability control, it only has AWD, Limited slip diffs, and ABS.

Assuming you own that car and have already been on a dirt track with it, you would know it doesn't have traction control.

Also the likelihood of your car having 500hp is really low.

Edit: Your profile states you have Rota Grid wheels. Grids are 6-spoke, the ones pictured are 5-spoke.

    Double Edit:

If you pull the hand brake on a Subaru (or just about any other car) the rear wheels will slow or stop spinning. If the car is moving when you do this you will harm the center differential and the rear of the car will attempt to pass the front of the car.

Lies! Nobody makes that kind of power on 10 1/4 spokes.
