    First time dragging the WRX

Couldnt quite get the launch down, tried both dropping the clutch and slipping it. This slip is my lowest 60 foot

Still, fairly happy with the results, I went in wanting to get a 13.6, but have never dragged this car or launched anything AWD before.

Mods are - 05 wrx 2.0, STI uppipe, Speedtech TBE, Testes tuned with Romraider.

Takes a while to get the launch down. Especially on a drag race surface. Once you get that down and see a 1.84 or 1.82 to 60', a low 13.60 or a mid 13.5 is in your future.
Just don't get greedy. When you start to hit the low 1.8's, just master that. When you try to go quicker, you will find that you have nothing to drive to work on Monday.

I think I could have actually run a faster time on that run, I had resolved to see if third would carry me through the quarter, so was bouncing off the rev limiter just before the 1/4 line. I think had I shifted I could have reduced the over time and upped the trap speed a bit.

not necessarily... I have to bounce off the rev limiter for the last 100ft of the 1/4 mile... once I try to shift into 4th I actually lose time... (went from a 13.40 to a 13.55 with the same 60ft)

Thats about right for me, was the last 150/100 feet or so if I had to throw up a guess.
