Is the Rally Ford Fiesta AWD or did they keep the FWD configuration?

    This is a good question!

The Fiesta is entered in the local "Open" class, so I don't even know if the car is homologated -- or if it needs to be homologated. (I really do think the local championship would be more relevant if the cars were homologated -- but then again it this would not guarantee that it would be more popular, which is what really matters locally).

Assuming the Fiesta is homologated, under GrN the standard gearbox casing needs to be used throughout. This usually means whatever the road car was is what the GrN car is, but the GrN can use dogs as long as they keep the same casing.

    ok 2 things

the car he crashes in in the vid above is a WRC Ford Focus. built and prepped by M-Sport in the UK

the car he uses for the Rally America series is a Open Class AWD Ford Fiesta built and prepped by Olsberg MSE.
(who built the pikes peak fiesta driven by marcus gronholm)
