Seconded. Probably a very nice guy but not working out for me, sorry.

I remember as a kid that the magazine, Quattroruote, had F1 coverage by Nelson Piquet and WRC coverage by Walter Roehrl, while both were active. This means in-event coverage from a competitor. I realise this can't be done on TV since, well, the competitors are competing, but there are many qualified people to do the coverage.

I remember the late James Hunt commentated, for example, and being a former world driving champion did lend at least a modicum of credibility. Why not throw a suitcase full of money to someone like Nigel Mansel? Damon Hill? They can walk around in sunglasses and mutter into a mike as well as anyone else I bet, and they'd add a lot of "oomph" to the broadcast.

Finally got caught up on my DVR so I could look in here.

How about they do the opposite of NASCAR and cancel the event if there is no rain.

I totally agree that pit passing is a sorry approach to livening things up - I want to see a race not a chess game. I mean the strategy was an added bonus in the past but it is no substitute for more action on the track. I guess more pits occasionally might toss someone who is hot far enough back that there are some folks they can pass but that isn't the biggest deal either.

Too bad Hamilton came across as *****ing at his team for the extra stop. He was pretty entertaining behind the wheel.

Even Peter Windsor was better, they should just get him back it's not like he's doing anything else now anyway.

    Qualifying was painful to watch.

At least we aren't too far from Mclaren and they are the closest in points.

In the last 2 seasons Ferrari has made quite a few fumbles in qualifying.

agreed terrible decision to stay in and not try to make a quick lap on inters..u win some u lose some (ferrari just seems to lose most of the time)..well see how overtaking goes with fast mclarens and ferraris behind the lotus and virgin cars

At least they can't make a mess of refueling any more. They'll probably win the constructors' title either because or despite of their organization.

great race. even though i dont like lewis very much i must say he really can drive..picking up 10 places in 4 laps is amazing even more so because the ferraris and button didnt make any headway for many laps.
