Again, your track results are what cars with far more mods and far more aggressive tuning will get on a perfect run.

Incorrect... The EJ255 (2.5L engine in the 06+) has similar internals to the EJ205 (2.0L engine in the 02-05). In addition, the EJ255 has a semi-closed deck block as opposed to the open-deck block in the EJ205.

With just forged pistons and rods, the EJ255 is a freaking beast of an engine....

The EJ255 and EJ257 are identical except the dishing on the pistons (changed compression slightly), and the flow of the heads.

It's very rare to be able to get the EJ205 to handle a 20G without sleeves and forged pistons (Jeremy - Testes1010 was able to do so though). Whereas there are many 20g'd EJ255's and EJ257's on fully stock internals, and even a few FPGreens.

    Alright I did some homework.

My only question is how much power should I shoot for in order to get 11s?

The subaru people that I know suggested:

    272 cams
    FP green
    Good EWG
    exhaust
    spearco TMIC
    AEM intake
    cossy internals
and the other bits and pieces that go along

The only things I'd change are the Cosworth internals to something a little cheaper unless you like high end brand names and the AEM intake to one with a larger MAF housing, like the KSTech 73mm intake, APS 70mm CAI, etc.

For the price, go with a DomIII XT-R

Honestly, though, rotated may be a better way to go

Yeah but who makes a rotated kit that can work with a TMIC for a good price?
