    08/09 WRX autox setup

what are the magic #'s for autocrossing the 09 WRX:

    spring rates?
    sway bar size?
    ride height?
    front camber?
    caster?
or anything else to help it handle...

    Thanks for any help.
I need setup for dummies. I've read how to calculate spring rates to get to 2.2hz
I've read about: roll center, CG, bump steer, load force, jacking, camber curve...
I'm no engineer, just a driver.

This doesn't exactly answer your question, but here is Big Sky's project thread. Bits and pieces of it may be of interest to you. He has an 09 hatch, autocrosses and knows his stuff.

    Thank you DUB

    That is an awesome thread.
I've read many of Big Sky's posts. What a wealth of information that he is willing to share.

    I love you Big Sky

I'm still looking for ride heights.
With our camber curve, at what point does handling decrease with lowering?

Do you have a particular class in mind? You mention spring rates and such, which means "out of stock class", so there would be a lot more that could be done than what you've just listed.

I'm slowly building up to STU

    I currently have:
Perrin swaybars 25F 22R and endlinks
    Rota 18x8 P1 rims
    Falken RT615 40psi F/R
I have 8k/10k BC inverted coilovers coming thats why I was asking about ride heights.

with stock shocks and H&R sprins here's my alignment:
    camber -1.8F 1.5R
caster 3.5 I don't know why it's low (maybe the lowering springs)
    Toe 0.01F 0.04R
When I get the coilovers I'm thinking -2.5F camber and as much caster as I can get.

You might try looking at Paul Magyar's STU '08 STI information too.
