Anyone out there ever driven in a rallycross? There's info on the SCCA website if you haven't heard of it.

I'm a new WRX driver (stock silver 04) who's always loved watching rallying, and love the look of RallyX. Anyone with some experience with it got advice for a newbie?

Same advice I have for people looking to get into Auto-X ...

Go to an event and spectate. Talk to the people who have been doing it a while. Get advice from them. See if you can ride shotgun for one of their runs.

When you decide to participate, have someone film your runs. Also, have someone experienced ride shotgun to give you pointers.

The Scandinavian Flick:
When approaching a turn at high velocity slide the nose and weight of the car to the opposite of the turn. Then correct the direction quickly into the turn. The result is smoother and more promising weight transfer.
