    Auto-X experts assistance plz

Ok, so I'm in the midst of putting all my stuff in and I KNOW I will be bumped to a place I will have more competition.

At first I was in STU till I put more goodies in.... I stayed in STU for the last 6 months for more seat time.
Here are the mods I "currently" have in :

AP protune, downpipe, catback, lightened crank pulley, PnPnC intake mani, phenolic spacers, F&R sways w/endlinks and stout mounts, F&R strut bars, lowerering springs, shorty shifter and bushings, tranny bushings, rear lockdown bushings and bolts, turbo inlet hose, (Walbro, which doesn't matter), Perrin CAI, STi pitchstop, STi TMIC w/IC sprayer, and a few other smaller things.... (Tire PAX) Not going to run R compounds unless it is "needed" for grip.

NOW.... I will be putting in a new charger (PnPnC EVO3 16G), Prodrive BCS, 830cc injectors, PnPnC uppipe, ALK, radiator hoses (which I don't think matters).

Ok.... What all that amounts to will put me in what class?

Only reason I ask is because if putting a meth kit in (in addition) to all that will not change my class, then so be it.... I will get on the ball to get r dun.

ANY assistance will REALLY be appreciated.

We're not allowed to run meth here - only water

With the upgraded turbo, you should be in SM IIRC

I remember hearing a while back that the ALK changes times so much that it bumps your class up quite a bit. I don't remember who had said that though... wagone and big sky will be in here in a bit I'll bet: D

ALK is probably enough to bump him up to SM as well

You sir are well into SM. I'd have to look at the rules regarding the Meth injection, but I do seem to recall that only water injection is allowed.

You can download a copy of the 2009 Solo Rules from scca.com.

    Yeah, i'm ok w/that .....

A few of the elders in SASCA were saying that if yur not cheating, yur not trying hard enough.

Sooooo..... Do they use litmus paper to chk for methanol in your tank ? I'd love to see THAT.

Aren't there quite a bit of sub classes that are in SM ?

Consider yourself lucky - there are a few 400-500whp STi's/Evo's with very highly skilled drivers in our SM class

But I want competition.... Will I actually learn anything from no one to compete with ? That's why I was considering meth and going into SS or something. So, setting my car up for SM is safe to say ?

Why wouldn't you learn anything? Just because someone is in a different class than you, doesn't mean they can't give you pointers. You don't need another car in your class to compete with, use your previous runs - have someone video tape your runs for you (or setup a camera mount) to determine where you lose time, and where you can improve.

ISH... I can't even go into SS....

Learn from ppl w/the same cars in the same class is what I meant, sorry.

One of the guys sets his GPS up to find out where he loses time from lap to lap <--- NUTS

Only reason I can think of not many AWD cars is because they aren't needed down here like they are up north....
