    gymkhana is actually quite a bit like autox, the courses usually run onto themselves and can be more complex, and they usually include a couple of tighter turns than you might see at a autox, but they are very similar

    has this hit the shores of america yet..I'm quite interested in this form of racing and think I would fair very well.

    Kind of off topic, but in Ken Blocks car in that vid, what type of tranny is he using? Built 6 speed? He also makes Travis look like a joke in driving skills

    And you have the wrong kind car to get into it. It's a mix between drifting and autocross.

    fairly slow catching on here, partly because auto-x is so firmly entrenched and popular

    I see...I thought it looked like something fun to try...yeah awd is def not the best layout but it is being done.
