What info are you looking for?

    You'll be in A-Stock.

Buy aggressive summer tires - A/S just won't cut it.

Walk the course with an experienced Auto-Xer, and make sure they give you insight on how to drive. Our Auto-Xs have 6 laps. Take an instructor with you the first three laps, and have them give you pointers. Your second three laps, do it yourself, trying to do everything they told you. Compare the times.

    Most of all, have fun

I auto cross my wrx almost every other weekend. I love it! It's the best thing you could ever do with your "sports car". You'll also find out that you cant drive and you will find out that WAY cheaper cars can out run you. I have a stage 2 wrx, and i get beat by a 1959 austin healy with 58 hp. HP doesnt matter it's all about the finesse you have while driving. I've been autox'ing for about 4-5 months now and i definately know the limitations of what my car can and can't do. I know when the tires break and how my car acts in certain gears. For the first couple months don't buy any mods and make sure to get more experienced drivers to ride with you and make sure to take all the rides in other drivers cars that you can. Make sure that when you go you just go with the mind set that you are a dummy when it comes to driving and you want to learn everything you can about how to get better. Ask stupid questions and make tons of mistakes. Trust me you'll learn more than you think.

It's by far the most addicting thing I've ever done.

Welcome to the addiction that is Auto-x.

Step 1. Contact your local SCCA region and ask them for info on how they run their events.

Step 2. Report back with how it went.

You'll have to have an empty car (this includes floormats) - I'd remove any unnecessary crap from your car the night before. Only thing I can think of to bring is your drivers license, and a helmet (if you don't have one, they will provide you with one).
