I'll take the Stratos. Maybe if everyone paypals me $30 I can afford it.

I love all things Lancia but I'm torn between the 037 and the Delta S4. Both are more of a widow-maker than the Stratos but the 037 has that absolutely fantabulous "Lancia Martini" paint (IMO the bestest, over-the-toppest, I'm-all-in-est livery EVER) so I might go with the 037 just for that.

The S1 Evolution 2 "Pike's" replica is cute too.

The Alitalia livery on the Stratos isn't bad but I like the cars with the "Jolly Club" logos better (and if you fly Alitalia to Rome enough you'll inevitably have your luggage sent to Nairobi).

my friend has a Cosworth Escort, I imagine that there is just a small handful here stateside

it came w/ both a tarmac and rally suspension, the rally suspension is still boxed and has never been used

another buddy had a Lotus Cortina that was absolutely mint, but alas he sold it of course he drives a street legal Birkin now

it appears my friends are quite a bit cooler than me

The early Cossies had a big turbo and they could make great power. Later on Ford figured out that drivability could be better so they put in a smaller turbo and offered a more subtle spoiler instead of the big tripod wing that'd been around since the Sierra. I loved those cars and still do -- I just not the right person to own one.
